This project involved a vital accessibility upgrade to Central Coast’s Narara Station, centred around construction of two new lifts connecting the platforms to the existing footbridge and commuter carparks. The lifts were complemented by new accessible parking and Kiss and Ride spaces, accessible paths and pedestrian crossings, platform regrading, formalised Boarding Assistance Zones and various electrical upgrades.

The upgrade was delivered proudly and collaboratively as part of the Transport Access Program (TAP), a NSW Government initiative that delivers accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure across the state. Haslin has delivered a long line of TAP Upgrades throughout NSW, including LisarowWahroonga, Warrawee and Hawkesbury River stations, helping Transport for NSW realise their vision of a more connected, accessible public transport network.
