Since Haslin’s founding in 1991, we’ve worked with our clients alongside traditional custodians to build infrastructure that is sensitive to our country’s historical context. This saw us establishing an Indigenous Participation Policy (SEQ-POL-014) and frequently exceeding the requirements of the NSW Government’s Aboriginal Participation In Construction (APIC) framework and/or the Federal Government’s Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP).
While this engagement was important, it didn’t go far enough, and in 2024 Haslin was proud to launch of our first Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This RAP codifies Haslin’s commitment to Australia’s First Nations People, and establishes 40 tangible, actionable company-wide commitments that will foster greater understanding and engagement. These commitments are outlined in the RAP Document, accessible here.
