This project involved the construction of a 17000EP Wastewater Treatment Plant in water-charged grounds. The plant was required in order to service the local tourism industry, with visitor numbers swelling exponentially in the summer months.
Works included the construction of concrete EAT tanks, chlorine contact tanks, pump stations, concrete lined sludge lagoons and catch/balance ponds. Building works included a blower room and electrical switch room. Mechanical works included decants, submersible pumps, pressure filters, UV systems, chemical dosing plus all associated pipework and electrical works. To complete the project, HASLIN also built access roads as well as undertaking commissioning and training.
“We’ve really engaged with Clarence Valley Council… We worked with their needs and came out with the best result for everyone.”
