This project involved the construction of community track and field facilities in Lucas Heights, as part of The Ridge sporting precinct in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire. The centrepiece is the eight lane synthetic athletics track, built to IAAF standards, and this is accentuated by an amenities building, a central field area with jumping pits and throwing nets, a hillside spectators area and requisite lighting. This field is a vitally important part of the local community and serves as the venue for countless athletics carnivals and other events.
