This project, proudly being delivered by Haslin on the traditional lands of the Thunggutti / Dunghutti Nation, involves the greenfield construction of a new wastewater treatment plant in Stuarts Point, NSW. The plant is the centrepiece of the Stuarts Point Sewerage Scheme, Council’s masterplan that will deliver new and upgraded water treatment facilities that will service the villages of Stuarts Point, Grassy Head, and Fishermans Reach for generations to come.

The new, state-of-the-art plant will utilise Intermittently Decanted Extended Aeration (IDEA) technology and UV disinfection to cater to 5,400 Equivalent Persons (EP), with the construction to be delivered collaboratively in line with Haslin’s stringent safety standards. The facility is the latest in a long line of scope-similar facilities delivered by Haslin across regional NSW, will improve environmental outcomes, protect public health and support the long-term sustainability of the region.
