This project – being delivered proudly on behalf of repeat-client Wingecarribee Shire Council – involves the construction of the upgrade and augmentation of the Moss Vale Wastewater Treatment Plant that will ensure its utility for the next generation. The scope of work being carried out by Haslin includes:

• New inlet works and inlet lift pump station to transfer influent to the bioreactors;
• Two new bioreactors including aeration system, mixers and associated works;
• Two secondary clarifiers, RAS system, scum pumping station and filter feed control system;
• Dual media tertiary filter infrastructure;
• Clean and dirty water backwash systems;
• UV disinfection system;
• A new mechanical dewatering and sludge handling facility;
• The construction of new buildings to house new blower equipment;
• Chemical dosing facilities;
• Conversion of existing IDEA tank into an aerobic digestor with new aeration system;
• Civil works including earthworks, roadworks, drainage, interconnecting plant pipework, drainage and water services, demolition work
• Electrical works including the construction of 3 new switchrooms, new control and communication conduiting/cabling, new field instrumentation and control panels;
• Upgrades to the incoming power supply.
