The Huntingwood Zone Substation was constructed to supply power to the growing Western Sydney Employment Area. The critically important project involved construction of a control room, switchyard and 2 transformer bunds, enhancing our client Endeavour Energy’s ability to provide power safely and reliably to their customers.
The project also encompassed HV fit out comprising delivery, installation and commissioning of 2 x 132kV power transformers, an 11kV switchboard, an 11kV aux board, 5 x 132kV DTCBs, SCADA, VESDA and CCTV systems. Fencing works involved integration of architectural textured precast panels with typical high-security substation fence.
