The Griffith Solar Farm is a project consisting of 100 hectares of ground mounted solar panels approximately 7km south-east of Griffith in New South Wales. The farm generates approximately 76 000 megawatt hours (MWh) of clean, renewable electricity for the national power grid each year, a major contribution to Australia’s greenhouse gas reductions.

Haslin were engaged by Bouygues Construction (BYCA) to coordinate, manage and conform the construction of Griffith, Dubbo and Narromine Solar Farms and two other sites, comprising installation of 29 250 piles in challenging ground conditions involving predrilling and direct driving of piles. Haslin also managed, coordinated and conformed the assembly of 2250 rows of 90 module trackers, gear boxes and motors, plus installation of 202 500 PV modules.
