This project – part of the RMS ‘Easing Sydney’s Congestion’ Program – entailed reconfiguration of the Great Western Highway at its intersection with Clunies Ross Street in Prospect. The reconfiguration included converting bus lanes into general traffic lanes, alterations to signal phasing, adjustments to traffic signal infrastructure, installation of street lighting and extensive relocation of underground electrical services.
The complex works – carried out mostly at night in conjunction with TMC – also included demolition and reconstruction of existing pavements.
“Haslin are proud to deliver this intersection upgrade, providing improved safety and efficiency for vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the morning and afternoon peaks.”
