The Dubbo Solar Farm – along with the Narromine Solar Farm – is one half of the Dubbo Solar Hub, a 90 hectare array of ground-mounted solar panels located regional NSW. The Dubbo Solar Hub generates approximately 61 000 megawatt hours (MWh) of clean, renewable electricity for the national power grid each year, a major contribution to Australia’s greenhouse gas reductions.

Haslin was engaged by Bouygues Construction (BYCA) to coordinate, manage and conform the construction of Dubbo, Narromine and Griffith Solar Farms, comprising installation of 29 250 piles in challenging ground conditions involving predrilling and direct driving of piles. Haslin also managed, coordinated and conformed the assembly of 2250 rows of 90 module trackers, gear boxes and motors, plus installation of 202 500 PV modules.
