The Cowarra Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is a major, State Significant Infrastructure project and the centrepiece of the broader Cowarra Water Supply Scheme. The new, state-of-the-art WTP will be a Dissolved Air Flotation on Filter (DAFF) plant with UV and chemical dosing, capable of treating 10,000 megalitres of water annually.

The project, being delivered by the Haslin and LC Water Joint Venture known as LC Haslin, will future-proof the region’s water security and support community growth across Port Macquarie, Camden Haven, Sancrox and Thrumster through to at least 2057.
