This $3m project entailed construction of a pedestrian walkway to bypass Horsely Drive, allowing safe travel for the adjacent Fairfield High School. The bridge is a welded plate girder design, and works included construction of access ramps, stairs and abutments. To minimise traffic disruptions for local residents, fabrication of the bridge took place in Wollongong and was transported to site for install.
